India Loved Only Khans and Muslims Actresses: Kangana on “Pathaan” Success
Over the last several days, Kangana Ranaut has been talking about Shah Rukh Khan’s movie Pathaan on her Twitter account. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan has shattered a number of box office records, and it has become the quickest Hindi film to reach the 200 crore club in only four days after its initial release.
Now, Kangana has tweeted about the success of the film at the box office, claiming that the nation is prejudiced towards “Khans and Muslim actresses.” Recently, she issued a warning to Bollywood, advising them not to include politics in the success of the film Pathaan and to instead just enjoy the success of the film.
On Saturday, Kangana Ranaut, who recently made her return to Twitter after having her account suspended in 2020 for violating the social media platform’s rule, retweeted a post that was made by another user, who had analysed the reasons why Pathaan was such a box office success.
The post was about how Pathaan became a successful film. Kangana replied the following in response to the tweet: “Excellent work breaking it down… This nation has nothing but affection for any and all Khans, and there have been periods when it has adored only Khans…
It is quite dishonest to accuse India of bigotry and fascism gave that the country is infatuated with Muslim actresses. There is no other nation in the world that compares to Bharat (emoji depicting the Indian flag), and I mean it in the most sincere way possible.”
Very good analysis… this country has only and only loved all Khans and at times only and only Khans…And obsessed over Muslim actresses, so it’s very unfair to accuse India of hate and fascism … there is no country like Bharat 🇮🇳 in the whole world 🥰🙏 https://t.co/wGcSPMCpq4

The initial tweet, to which the actor responded, said that Pathaan was a success because Hindus and Muslims adore Shah Rukh equally and that there are no “boycott inclinations” that might hurt Bollywood films; rather, they support the industry.
The actor’s response was in response to this statement. In response to Kangana’s most recent tweet, a significant number of individuals said that the star was trying too hard to get attention by posting about Pathaan.
A user said on Twitter, “So you’re not a citizen of this nation, is that what you’re saying? You have done nothing except launch baseless attacks on the Khan family (and others, to be fair to you) and have consistently used the religion card by claiming that everything and everything is biased against Hindus.”
In another tweet, it was said, “You have a condition that causes you to see everything through the jaded lens of a Muslim extremist and a non-Muslim extremist. It is profound, and it rots away at one from the inside out. When do you start classifying people as Khans or Muslims among Indians?
IT IS HATRED that you are expressing at the very center of your behavior. They are just Indians. Why do you feel the need to categorise them?”
Another user wrote the following to Kangana Ranaut: “Whether you genuinely believe like this Kangana, let’s change your name from Kangana to Kainaat (an Urdu name that means universe) for only one movie, and let’s see if that movie pans well or not.”

Earlier, Kangana had tweeted the following: “Love for India has ultimately prevailed over hatred, as well as the petty politics of India’s adversaries. Lekin, (but) those of you who are keeping your fingers crossed, please take heed… Pathaan sirf ek film ho sakti hai… goonjega toh yahan sirf Jai Shri Ram… Jai Shri Ram (even if Pathaan is only a movie, all the nation will hear are shouts of Jai Shri Ram)”
